Toishan Martial Arts is affiliated with Green Dragon Kung Fu (Edmonton), which  was founded in 1971 by Grand Master Chan Wah .

Sifu Jostein Haugland (Chinese New Year Demo & Lion Dance- 2019 ) is the school’s sole instructor, who has practiced the combative arts for more than 55 years and has been training with Master Chan for over 25 years.

 

He has a background in half a dozen Chinese styles, wrestling and numerous Filipino stick fighting styles.

Toishan Martial Arts aims to preserve and spread the Toishan fighting arts.
